Payment
I only accept payments via PayPal. For purchases in the state of NY I do have to charge sales tax, but since Etsy doesn't have a tax option I'm taking care of it.


Shipping
$1 for U.S. orders and $5 International orders. Orders are sent via USPS First Class Mail. If you need a different shipping type please send me a message before purchasing for price and availability.

Generally we ship through USPS, so please keep in mind weekends, and holidays. Delivery time may vary for custom orders, and orders to other countries. If you need your order by a specific date, or live outside of the United States, email jlynne @ pretty-haute .com before placing your order.


Refunds and Exchanges
We describe each item in detail, and show the most accurate photographs possible, generally returns will not be accepted unless it is an exceptional circumstance.

Custom orders will be discussed with you in great detail before purchase to ensure they are what you ask for. After payment for custom orders, you are agreeing that the details are correct. Please see "Additional Information" below for more information on custom orders.

Custom Orders
We (Pretty Haute/J. Lynne) will not knowingly copy or duplicate copyrighted works or designs, other artists' designs, or any other item which is considered intellectual property belonging to a party that is neither us (Pretty Haute/J. Lynne) or you (the purchaser). Any modifications or substitutions to our designs will be considered design property of Pretty Haute/J. Lynne. Any custom designs created by us (Pretty Haute/J. Lynne) for you, the purchaser, remain our design property. Pretty Haute/J. Lynne retains the right to use pictures of these custom designs, as well as duplication of the designs themselves, at any time. Customer's names, however, will be withheld for privacy. Designs submitted by YOU, the customer, will remain YOUR design property. However, Pretty Haute/J. Lynne retains the right to photograph and display pictures of any custom orders you design but we produce. Customer's names and information will be withheld for privacy. Submission of the Custom Order Inquiry Form at prettyhaute.com does not constitute sale of goods. When custom design order details (design, materials, cost, order due date, and shipping options) are complete we will send you an invoice with all details. Once a custom order is paid for the details of the order are considered accepted by the buyer, and the item (or items) is considered sold. Any returns or reimbursements will fall under our general policies. If you have questions about the details on your invoice please contact us before payment.

We are committed to being as "green" a company as possible! Everything we can buy from recycled, reclaimed, or sustainable sources we do!


Care for Your Jewelry:
We do not recommend liquid or immersible cleaners for our jewelry. Instead we recommend a soft buffing cloth designed to clean gently. Liquid jewelry cleaners may strip or ruin the special finish on a bead or metal piece, whereas cloth is far gentler. We will send your item in a special bag with a zip top which is also made with a special anti-tarnish material. We recommend keeping your item in this bag to help lessen the possibility of tarnish.

According to Federal law I have to give this disclaimer-METAL CONTENT INFORMATION - ITEMS IN MY SHOP MAY CONTAIN TRACE AMOUNTS OF LEAD. ITEMS IN MY SHOP ARE NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN. PLEASE KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

That said, please know that I do not knowingly buy anything that has a lead content that is unsafe for adults. Swarovski crystal has a small tiny amount of lead in it-this is what makes it crystal and not glass. But they have also been in business for about a century, and the small amount their items contain renders them OK to sell for ADULTS under US law.


Allergy Warning
I do own cats! I do inspect everything to ensure as much has humanly possible you don't get any cat hair. All my supplies are in plastic containers though, so really, it shouldn't be an issue-but if you are super allergic, you are warned!
